To support our commitment to developing value-added products and efficient manufacturing processes, Guardian launched its Science & Technology Center (S&T) in 2000. In addition, we have research and development facilities in Warren, Michigan, and Valencia, Spain.

S&T boasts state-of-the art scientific equipment in a world-class setting and employs nearly sixty scientists and engineers from a variety of disciplines. Their charge? To explore and develop groundbreaking glass coatings and manufacturing methods.

To ensure that Guardian’s innovations are practical, that our coatings are durable, and that our methods are efficient, we keep research facilities close to manufacturing operations. That way, science and production form teams that anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions.
