Palestine calls upon Arab Economic Summit to discuss Gaza reconstruction

CAIRO, Jan 8 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Authority officially requested from the Arab Economic Summit due to be held in Kuwait January 19-20 to include within its agenda the issue of Gaza reconstruction.
Palestine's permanent envoy to the Arab League, Ambassador Nabil Amro said, that the Palestinian authority presented this request to hold a special session for Kings and Arab States' leaders to discuss ways to present aid and support for the reconstruction of Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Media and Culture Center in the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo announced that two injured Palestinians, who had been transferred to the Ismailia Hospital from Gaza, passed away today.
The center added in a statement, that the number of injured Palestinians who died in Egyptian hospitals recorded 15, including three children, whereas the 15 injured were in critical condition. (end) mfm.az.asa KUNA 081826 Jan 09NNNN
